(Mat-based) Pilates I/II

A Mat-based Pilates class works the core muscle of the body, including the deeper muscle of the abdominals, back, shoulder blades and buttocks. The Pilates exercise stretches and strengthens your muscles in a non-impactful, controlled manner.


 

ACTIVATE

ACTIVATE is the perfect class for fitness buff-cum-yoga enthusiasts. A unique class choreographed by True Fitness, ACTIVATE integrates traditional yoga poses and with sports-influenced elements such as plyometrics training and strengthening movement.

BODYBALANCE™ is the Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centered and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance.

Core Yoga / Yoga Core

A dynamic & energetic form which basically stimulates core parts in our body. It physically and mentally challenges the practitioners to connect to an inner power. Core Yoga helps heal, detoxify and rouse the body and mind. It mostly emphasis on abs, back, hips and pelvis.


 

Dynamic Yoga

Dynamic Yoga, based on the techniques of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, is the fast, powerful form of yoga which has taken the yoga world by storm. It is as effective a cardiovascular workout as a conventional exercise-to-music class.


 

Flex

Unique to True Fitness, this comprehensive stretching programme is designed to compliment high impact classes and bring balance to your workout.


 

Flexi Yoga

An intermediate level of yoga, focusing on stretching and flexibility.


 

Gentle Yoga

This style of yoga is suitable for beginners. It is far less strenuous than other forms of yoga. It is beneficial to participants who are already quite fit but lack the overall flexibility to be able to do more intense yoga poses. Gentle yoga accomplishes its goals of providing a workout without putting any unnecessary strain on you.


 

Hatha Yoga

This form of yoga combines physical exercise and mental discipline, with the goal of integrating and invigorating both body and mind. It has been shown that Hatha Yoga reduces stress, improve balance and flexibility, increase strength and reduce the risk of injury in daily life. It can reduce heart rate and blood pressure, and can help manage chronic diseases. Its psychological benefits can assist in weight loss by helping you to control appetite.


 

Hot Yoga

Hot Yoga consists of a series of yoga poses and breathing exercises done in a heated room at 37 degrees. The postures are designed to systematically cleanse every part of the body and to provide a complete mind/body workout. The heated room promotes sweating which helps rid toxins from the body while loosening and stretching the muscles to prevent injuries. Hot Yoga improves circulation, increases metabolism, regulates digestion, strengthens the immune system and burns fat.


 

Pilates Ball

A workout that is focused on the core, with the added benefit of using a balance ball during class. This class is designed with Pilates exercises to challenge the core muscles.


 

Power Yoga

Power Yoga consists of a dynamic flow of asanas (postures) combined with powerful breathing exercises that works the body, breathing and mind. Through this cardiovascular and yoga workout, calories are burnt. In addition, it builds strength and endurance, resulting to a slimmer, stronger, toner and flexible body.


 

Sivananda Yoga

Another form of Hatha Yoga which consists of a series of 12 basic poses: Headstand, Shoulder-stand, Plow, Fish, Seated Forward Bend, Cobra, Locust, Bow, Half Spinal Twist, Crow, Standing Forward Bend and Triangle. Great for those who need a change in their workout routine.


 

Solar Flow Yoga

A dynamic, revitalising and strengthening practice with the invigorating energy of the sun. Likened to a dynamic dance, postures or asanas are connected through the breath for a transformative and balancing effect. This class activates "tapas" ~ transformational heat in the body, burning away that which obscures being. Suitable for all levels.


 

Stress Management Yoga

This class integrates several components of yoga to restore peace and stability in your body and mind - from relaxation movements to yoga postures, and breathing techniques to Yoga Nidra (Yogic sleep, or the state of consciousness between being awake and asleep). Besides decreasing stress and tension, Stress Management Yoga also helps to increase flexibility, balance and strength.


 

Traditional Yoga

Using the traditional yoga concepts for standing, sitting and lying postures, Traditional Yoga is an energetic form of yoga. It encompasses poses from the Sun Salutation series, other asanas and pranayamas which provide a good cardio workout.


 

Vinyasa Yoga

“Vinyasa” means flow in Sanskrit. As the name suggests, this yoga class consists of a powerful series of flowing and jumping movements. This class is sometimes called flow yoga, because of the smooth way that the poses run together and become like a dance. The breathing exercise is an important component because the instructor will teach you to move from one pose to the next on an inhale or an exhale.
