Celebrate the power of the individual with the True Group’s new brand campaign for 2016 and 2017. The Group has selected four inspiring individuals who will front the campaign throughout Singapore and regionally across Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan and China.
Russell Ong, former Team Singapore Swimming Captain, is one of the four new faces of the campaign. Now pursuing a career in acting, modelling and the arts, Russell still finds time amidst a hectic schedule to hit the gym, practise yoga and of course, swim. The affable 25-year-old says personal success to him is achieving what he sets out to achieve.
For many, yoga is a journey of getting to know yourself better. And it is no different for Clarice Ng, another fresh face of the True Group’s brand new look for 2016. The dancer choreographer is an exceptional modern dancer who has trained with renowned instructors in the local dance scene. She credits yoga for her success in dance as it gives her that balance, and keeps her limber and strong. “For me, yoga is a journey of self-discovery, to know myself better, and dance is an outward sharing of that self. To me, the two complement each other.”
It takes hard work to look good and Thai-Dutch actor/model Albert Karun de Kler and his girlfriend, Brazilian model Taise Rodrigues Dias prove just that. Avid gym goers who exercise five times a week to keep themselves fit and toned for their modelling careers, they were spotted working out in a True Fitness gym in Thailand. Impressed with their commitment to fitness, we approached them to be part of our campaign for 2016.
Taise (pronounced ‘Tay-zee’) has a disciplined approach to fitness. “To be fit requires discipline. Excuses don’t burn calories. But that said, fitness is not only physical but mental as well. Strong body, strong mind.” Her other half, the dashing Albert, believes in setting challenging goals. “Set challenging goals and achieve them through hard work, self-confidence and persistence within a deadline. It’s important you set yourself deadlines. It strengthens the focus! And once you see the results, it becomes an addiction.”
True Group’s brand new look celebrates the power of the individual and the potential within each person to succeed in their fitness and wellness journeys. Do you have it in you to push yourself that much further?
